Defending La Liga champion Barcelonaannounced its first signing of the summer on Monday.
The Catalonian club confirmed it signed 21-year-old midfielder Arthur from Brazilian side Gremio for an initial €31-million fee. That figure could rise to €40 million depending on add-ons and bonuses.
Arthur, who's received a senior Brazil call-up but has yet to debut for his country, signed a six-year deal with a buyout clause worth an eye-watering €400 million.
