The Judge said the death sentence will be a lesson to many youths who resort to violence in relationships.
“We want to confirm to Kenyans that there is justice in our courts. After three years of waiting, our prayers have been answered. We finally have justice for Farid,” said Emma Wanjiku, as quoted by the eDaily.
Issuing the ruling Justice Lesiit said the death sentence could be a lesson to many youths who resort to violence when things don’t work out in relationships.
“I want young people to know that it is not cool to kill your boyfriend or girlfriend. Even if you are disappointed or frustrated, don’t do it. It is good to walk away and, thereafter, forgive,” said Lesiit.
