A Jubilee governor shocked county residents when he erroneously sent a love text to a county WhatsApp group.
Nandi Governor Stephen Sang sent the message seemingly targeting his lover to Terik Ward Development, causing stir among users.
In the text, the former senator wrote: "You know I love you....right?" in a massage that surprised users who immediately questioned the motive of the message.
The message precipitated heated debate with locals accusing him of 'poor development' despite his criticism to county leadership when he was senator.
Before reconciling with area Senator Samson Cherargei, the two clashed over the management of the county with the senator accusing him of perpetuating grand corruption.
So vicious were the divisions that the DP William Ruto urgently intervened in June in a meeting held at his Karen Home.
At the local level, Sang has also been accused of favouring 'Slay Queens' in tenders and employment opportunities.
Until now, his communication team is yet to respond to the text, which the young lawyer did not erase despite the option by the social media providers.
