Legislators allied to Wiper Party have pressed upon Opposition Leader Raila Odinga not to run in the 2022 General Election but instead support Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka in his bid to clinch the top seat.
Led by Borabu MP Ben Momanyi, the MPs insisted that that it was time Raila reciprocated for the generosity extended to him by Kalonzo who stuck with him both in 2013 and 2017.

The legislators made the remarks of Saturday, September 8, in Machakos County where they attended a memorial ceremony for Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko's late father.
“Raila should not have any intentions of running again in 2022. He should now back Kalonzo who supported him in 2013, and 2017,” said Momanyi.
Kilome MP Thadeus Nzambi echoed Momanyi's sentiments and stated that leaders drawn from Ukambani will only throw their weight behind Kalonzo.
The law maker's remarks also come at a time when other Wiper Party supporters have also been calling for Raila to 'return the hand' as he was heavily indebted to Kalonzo who never decamped even after two failed attempts to clutch presidency.
Kalonzo however said that he owed no one a political debt adding that the gospel of political debts was outdated.
"In politics there is no debt. You get what you go for. If you go for nothing, you get nothing," Kalonzo responded to calls by MPs for Raila to support him come 2022.

Deputy President William Ruto is also among top politicians whose supporters believe President Uhuru Kenyatta's camp owes them a debt as they helped him ascend to presidency twice.
However, President Uhuru's supporter were quick to respond noting that they not privy to any deal that bound them to pay any kind of no debt to Ruto's camp.
TUKO.co.ke, had however repoted that the Kalenjin community through their Chairperson Chairperson James Lukwo claimed that the two communities had entered in agreement that would see Ruto become president in 2022.
Lukwo nonetheless expressed fears that the Kikuyu community was showing signs of not respecting the deal but affirmed they were ready for any outcome.
