Detectives have received statements from three new suspects linked to the gruesome murder of Rongo University student, Sharon Otieno.
The new suspects reportedly gave their statements on Sunday, September 16, in Migori County as probe into Sharon's murder entered second week.

A seven-month pregnant Rongo University student, Sharon Otieno, was found dead in Kodera Forest, Homa Bay County, day after she went missing.
TUKO.co.ke on Monday learnt the new homicide suspects whose name were not immediately identified was taken to Migori Police Station for interrogation.
According to the Migori County CID boss, Benedict Kigen, the suspects were not taken into police custody as was earlier reported by a section of the media.
In police custody were Migori Governor Zachary Okoth Obado's personal assistant (PA), Michael Oyamo, and former Member of County Assembly (MCA), Lawrence Mula.
The two had been arraigned in connection with the murder of Sharon.
Governor Obado had also recorded a statement after his name was adversely mentioned in relation to the brutal murder crime.
The governor admitted he knew Sharon at a personal level but denied he had anything to do with either her abduction or cruel murder.
The 26-year-old student's body was discovered abandoned in Kodera Forest, Homa Bay County, about two-hours drive from Migori County, a day after she was abducted alongside Nation Media Group journalist, Barrack Oduor.
An autopsy report released by Chief government Pathologist Johansen Oduor revealed Sharon was beaten, gang-raped, strangled and then stabbed eight time.
