Nigerian Chelsea star Kenneth Omeruo has been named in La Liga Team of the Week after an impressing performance in CD Leganes' goalless draw against Celta de Vigo last Saturday.
The 25-year-old Super Eagles centre-back was the highest rated player at the Municipal de Butarque last weekend, and racked up a game-high ten clearances, while he made one interception and one tackle over the course of ninety minutes.
According to whoscored.com, who rate Omeruo with 8.0 for his efforts against Celta de Vigo and Chelsea on loan star to partner former Arsenal defender Gabriel who just 0.1 higher than 2013 AFCON winner in a 4-4-2 formation.
