Alexis Sanchez Will Play Leading Role In A Movie Called: 'Mi Amigo Alexis'

It has been a turbulent season for Alexis Sanchez in terms of his career on the pitch but away from it, the Chilean has clearly been touching up on his acting skills.

The 30-year-old has been out injured for large spells of the 2018/19 campaign, and has scored just two goals in all competitions for Manchester United.

But on a positive note, Sanchez will play a leading role in a film called 'Mi Amigo Alexis' at the end of May, which will be based on a story of a young boy from Chile who is desperate to follow in his hero's footsteps.

He updated his followers about the release of the film on Instagram earlier.

"I am happy to participate in this movie, It's very nice to enjoy as a family. May 30th in cinemas."

Sanchez has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford in recent weeks, with a transfer to Inter Milan being speculated.

According to the Independent, the Serie A side would be willing to make an offer for the winger but would only sign him if he drops his wages.

The former Arsenal forward is on around £500,000 a week, when bonuses are taken into account, and that would be a sticking point for most teams.

His wages have been a big talking point amongst fans this season, and after he posted the above about his latest film, some were quick to voice their opinion.

Thoughts on the fact Alexis will appear in a movie next month?

Let us know in the comments.
