The Nigerian duo of Brown Ideye and Isaac Success have failed in their bid to help La Liga side Malaga CF avoid the drop from the Primera Division in Spain.
The 1-0 loss to Levante on Thursday has confirmed Malaga's relegation to the second-tier next season.

This is the first time the club will be relegated in ten years.
Malaga had engaged the services of the two Nigerian internationals, Brown Ideye on loan from Chinese Super League side Tianjin Teda and Isaac Success from English Premier league side Watford in order to help boost their attack and re-galvanize their season during the winter transfer window.
Of the two Ideye scored once in ten appearances while Success only impressed in his display.
The result left Malaga 17 points behind 17th-placed Levante, the first team outside the drop zone. Levante is seven points ahead of 18th- place Deportivo La Coruna.
The Nigeria duo are expected to return to their parent club at the end of the season.
