Arsenal to win race for Sporting star to replaces Bellerin?



Arsenal to win the race to sign Sporting Lisbon defender Cristiano Piccini replaces Hector Bellerin in the future.

The Gunners coach Arsene Wenger confirmed that he is stepping down as the club manager at the end of the season, but the North London outfit has continued to try to identify possibles new signing in the summer.

Piccini moves to Primera Liga last summer from Real Betis where he has impressed in his 30 appearances in all competitions.

Sporting only paid £2.6m for the player's signature, but it has been claimed that Arsenal are prepared to spend in the region of £17.5m.
