Former Manchester United star, Gary Neville has predicted that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool dream of reaching the final of this year’s Champions League will be ended by Roma.
Klopp’s men will attempt to reach a Champions League final for the first time since 2007 after they knocked out Manchester City in the quarter-final to reach the last-four.
The first match takes place at Anfield on Tuesday night, with the return leg in Rome booked for next week Wednesday.
Neville believes Roma, who currently sits on the third position in the Serie A League table with 67 points from 34 games, will cause an upset for the Reds.
“I’m going for Liverpool to win their first leg 2-1, but I’ll add that I also think they’ll get knocked out over the two legs,” Neville told Sky Sports.
“Roma are a very different proposition and capable of frustrating Jurgen Klopp’s attack.”
