Police have reportedly arrested 4 suspects allegedly working with Dino Melaye - The suspects were said to have escaped from police custody after their arrest - IGP Idris consequently redeployed the Kogi state commission of police over the incident Nigerian police has reportedly rearrested five members of a criminal gang that escaped from jail, allegedly working for Senator Dino Melaye. Sahara Reporters reports on its twitter page that four of the gang members were earlier rearrested while the fifth one was later rearrested by the police.
NAIJ.com gathered that the police according to reports said: "Four criminal gang members linked with Senator Dino Melaye rearrested and are now in police custody "Police has arrested 5th of the jail-breaking high profile criminals allegedly armed by Senator to carry out attacks on his political opponents in Kogi"
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had previously reported that the suspected assassins allegedly linked to Senator Dino Melaye and other high profile criminals have reportedly escaped from the Police Special Anti-Robbery Squad cell in Kogi state. Sahara Reporters have stated that details of the escape remains sketchy as the Kogi state police command is yet give details about the reported dramatic escape.
