Zlatan Ibrahimovic has claimed the World Cup would not be the same without him, as he confirms he will be going to the tournament in Russia later this year.
The 36-year old had previously retired from international football but is keen to come out of retirement and represent Sweden at the World Cup and in his usual style, he has made the announcement in a very braggadocio way.
Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel on the Jimmy Kimmel show, Ibrahimovic said: “I'm going to the World Cup, yes.
“I just said I'm going to the World Cup. If I say more, people will hang me so I have to be careful what I say now.
“A World Cup without me wouldn't be a World Cup.”
Although it remains to be seen in what capacity the former Manchester United star will be in Russia for, fans will undoubtedly be hoping it's a playing return, with Sweden facing Germany, Mexico and and South Korea in Group F.
