Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp appeared to be angry with Ragnar Klavan after Premier League struggler West Brom comeback on Saturday.
Reds started positively as Danny Ings scored his first goal since October 2015 to sweep his team into a fourth-minute lead at The Hawthorns and Mohamed Salah's Premier League record-equalling 31st of the season appeared to have put the visitors in control with just 18 minutes to go.
However, Jake Livermore and Salomon Rondon, in the 88th minute, snatched a 2-2 draw for the top-flight's bottom club.
The result leaves Liverpool third in the table and Tottenham, who have played a game less, could now pull level on points. After the draw against West Brom, Klopp walked on the pitch and made a beeline for Klavan.
And the Liverpool manager looked annoyed as he had a lengthy discussion with his central defender. But despite singling out Klavan after the final whistle, Klopp claims Liverpool defended well and believes West Brom targeted goalkeeper Loris Karius at set-pieces.
"We controlled it pretty well, their only opportunity was with set pieces, the rest we defended really well,’ Klopp told Sky Sports.
"The whole game was a plot on the goalkeeper, everyone loves it in this country, but it makes life difficult for the goalie.’
Up next for Liverpool is the Champions League semi-final first-leg encounter against Roma at Anfield on Tuesday.
