LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic tells Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo to try bicycle kick from 40 meters.
The 33-year-old Portugal international scored a brilliant overhead kick goal as Los Blancos defeated Old Lady 3-0 in Turin in the Champions League quarter-final first leg but the five-time Ballon d'Or winner received a standing ovation from Juventus fans as the traveling Real Madrid contingent celebrated jubilantly.
In an appearance on ESPN’s Sportscenter on Tuesday night, Ibrahimovic was asked about Ronaldo’s goal and simply replied: "It was a nice goal, but he should try it from 40 meters.’
Ibrahimovic marked his LA Galaxy debut with a spectacular long-range strike – part of a match-winning brace against Los Angeles FC – but might also have been referencing his wonderful overhead attempt for Sweden against England in 2012.
The striker scored all four goals for his country in a 4-2 win over the Three Lions in Stockholm.
