"We are in receipt of full audit report on revenue management at Milimni Law courts dated July 12, 2018. The audit covered period between January 2016 and December 2017 and reveals revenue of KSh 36, 000, 334 was lost through various fraudulent deals. "We acknowledge a report of investigation of fraudulent activities and Milimani Law Courts. We request your good office to commence investigations into the matter and take action. The office of the Chief Registrar of the Judiciary will be ready to offer any institutional support to your team during the period of investigation," read a letter by Amadi dated Thursday, July 19.

The letters by the Judiciary came out just a day after Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Noordin Haji on Tuesday, August 7, indicated he had sufficient information to commence prosecution of individuals over financial impropriety in the arm of goevrenment.

The happenings follow Chief Justice David Maraga's Tuesday, July 24, disclaimer that Parliament's move to slash its proposed budget estimates from KSh 31 billion to KSh 14.5 billion would cripple its services with MPs on the other hand arguing the institution was wasting public funds.
