Iheanacho celebrates Ndidi's Leicester City Award



Kelechi Iheanacho has congratulated his Super Eagles teammate Wilfred Ndidi after the midfielder won the Young Player of the Year award at Leicester City’s annual award night at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday.

The 21-year-old Nigeria international won the award for the second year in a row for the club’s annual awards night on Tuesday night.

Liverpool target Nidid beat Leicester City teammate of left-back Ben Chilwell and forward Demarai Gray to the award.

Iheanacho congratulates his fellow compatriot on his Twitter handle.

Ndidi was also nominated for the Players’ Player of the Season award along with Harry Maguire and James Vardy with England centre-back going home with the prize

Ndidi who has been a key performer for the Foxes this season has made 33 Premier League appearances for the club with four assists to his name.

Iheanacho the other Nigerian at Leicester City will hope for better fortunes next season.
