NEW DAWN: KWARA STATE GOVERNOR SLASHES ROW FOR TELECOMS

Kwara  state governor Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has slashed the Right of way for all telecoms companies in the state fro the previous N5,500 per linear meter to N1 per kilometer of fibre which will also have a great effect on the positive growth of the state economy. 

Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq said this "I have directed the slashing of the Right of Way (RoW) fee for telecommunication firms (telcos) from N5,500 per linear metre to N1 per kilometre of fibre. 

The reduction takes immediate effect.

This will drive up investment in the telecommunication sector, encourage digital penetration, especially in the remotest parts of our state, and increase the state’s ease of doing business ratings.

PART 2:THE ROLE OPPORTUNITY TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL

...After which I rejected the sugar and biscuit, he then asked for the reason for the rejection of the sugar and biscuit. 

I proceed by telling him that, I have been diagnisize not to take anything sweet. His reply make me realized that, anybody can lose opportunity at anytime, his view was in two ways.

At first he said, even if I don't want to take anything sweet, there is possibility that I will meet someone or two who will either need one of it or at time the two. 

If I happen to give the person, he or she may have it in plan to repay me with something else that I may need instantly or in the future. The person will always have it in mind that I have been good to him for once and even not every time. 

This may be the reason that will motivate him to do good as well.

The person may tell others about it and this can be the reason why those that are told will be willing to do me good in return too. I may need help from them too and with such good, I will have my reward in multiples. 

Lastly, he said if I had know what was in is mind for testing me in that way, I will have taken the sweet food from him. I never can tell if after I took it from him. He may ask for anything that I want from him. He may surprise me in one way or the other. 

With this, I want us to think twice while making decision on opportunities that may come our way. 

We should never underestimate any opportunity which may come in any form . 

Opportunity changes life and it may also have negative effect as well. It depends on how the opportunity presented itself.

Almost every body on earth has waste opportunities in life, but we never take it serious because we have gotten little things that covered up some part of what we think we might have lost. 

The way we view most of the opportunity lost is usually lower than what it is( that's if we are opportune to know what we have lost.). But if we have the opportunity to know a little about it, we will feel regret and ashame of ourselves for taken those steps in the first place. 

Sometimes, we may think of crying over the lost opportunities because it can never be regain. 

I have waste so many opportunities that I later realized that I should have take advantages of that then, which I know my life will be atleast a little different from now. This is the reason why I'm urging the viewers not to waste any opportunity which may come their way. 

I'm going to discus a little about Bill Gate who happens to be among the world richest man on earth as at the time of writing this article. 

We all needed to learn from him because he is a role model to everyone who want to be rich and those that are rich through taking advantages of opportunities.

A journalist happened to interviewed Mr. Bill Gate on the secret behind his success, but instead of a reply expected from Mr. Bill Gate, he handed a cheque to the young lady and asked her to write any amount she wished in the cheque, he also mentioned that he is ready to pay her any amount she wrote on the cheque.

The lady reply him by saying she wasn't interested in his action for playing her intelligence then, she repeated her question again, thinking that the situation will change, but instead, Mr. Bill Gate handed her the cheque again and repeating the same state that she should write any amount she wished on the cheque, that he is ready to give it to her.

 At this point of time, the lady got frustrated and she tore the cheque into pieces and this was what make Mr. Bill Gate gave some speech. 

He said " the secret of my success is that, I do not miss any opportunity, like you just did. If you follow that philosophy, maybe you will be the richest journalist in the world today"

This is telling us that, opportunities are very rare to get and once we have the chance let grab it.

I was tested with a biscuit and sugar maybe two tea spoon of it. Actually, I was diagnosed not to take sugar or anything sweet, so I rejected it, you know what happen next.....
