Mourinho comment on Manchester united draw against Fc Bournemouth

MOURINHO REFLECTS ON BOURNEMOUTH DRAW
Jose Mourinho was understandably frustrated after Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw by Bournemouth on Saturday.
Marcos Rojo gave the Reds a first-half lead but ex-Reds striker Joshua King equalised from the penalty spot. The visitors' Andrew Surman was sent off by referee Kevin Friend but United could not capitalise, with goalkeeper Artur Boruc saving Zlatan Ibrahimovic's spot-kick and making several other key stops.
Mourinho gave his view of the result but refused to be drawn on the incident between Ibrahimovic and Tyrone Mings at the end of the first half. Here are the key points from the manager's post-match interviews with MUTV and Sky Sports...
On the game
"It was more of the same again. The Man of the Match was the opposition goalkeeper. It's incredible the number of chances we missed. We played amazing football in the first half; it should be 3-0 or 4-0 and I don’t know how it ended 1-1. In the second half, we lost a little bit of the quality and dimension of good football we had in the first half against opponents who, more or less, decided –and I’m not critical of that – to give up and just to defend. Once more, we deserved to win by far but we didn’t. We lost two points and a good opportunity to close the gap."
On Mings and Ibrahimovic
"I don’t like to speak after matches. The referee was there; if you ask me if I’m going to be happy if Mings gets a four or five-game ban, I really don’t care about it. He knows what he did better than anyone, better than the referee the intention or the emotion of the moment. The referee made two important decisions which were right –two penalties, no doubt about it. If we didn’t win it was because Boruc made an amazing performance. We were not lucky, we were not good enough to materialise goals with the dominance we had."
On playing against 10 men
"If we score one goal, we are winning. To play against one man less is always a big advantage. When you play against a team with a good result in the pocket, they close the door. The wingers don’t attack, they defend. The midfielders don’t push up to attack, they stay in low block. We had so many chances in the second half to score, it’s not about one less man – it’s about us missing so many chances."
On United's second league penalty of the season
"Making fun of it, we stopped practising penalties because we were four or five months without a penalty. Zlatan, Pogba. These guys stopped training penalties and then, when a penalty comes, they are not ready to take it. That’s it – in a funny way."
On moving on
"We have to. To other things. Probably these guys at other clubs in the Premier League have two or three days off, time to disconnect, and we have got to go to Russia, to Rostov in the Europa League on Thursday. We have to move on and go for the next one."
