Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has reached a verbal agreement with Arsenal to replace Arsene Wenger should he stand down, according to the Daily Express.
With Wenger's future at the Emirates Stadium uncertain, Allegri is in pole position to take over if the Frenchman declines to extend his 20-year tenure beyond the end of 2016-17.
Arsenal expect Alexis Sanchez to leave this summer and are already planning for life without the Chilean, according to the Daily Mail .
Alexis is out of contract in 2018 and is yet to sign a new deal, leaving the Gunners to identify Alexandre Lacazette, Andre Silva and Marco Reus as their top targets to replace him.
