It seems each time Cristiano Ronaldo scores a goal, another record is broken. Indeed, with a goal against Borussia Dortmund, Ronaldo has done it again, taking his tally to nine goals and becoming the first player to score in all six group-stage matches in the Champions League in a single season.
The Real Madrid star scored twice against APOEL to open the group stage, then hit another brace in Germany against Dortmund. He notched a goal in each of his team's matches against Tottenham, then added another double at APOEL in the reverse fixture. He rounded off his scoring with another goal against Dortmund, this time at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Still, for the Portuguese icon, scoring hasn't always come easy this year. Ronaldo has struggled to find the back of the net regularly in La Liga, scoring just twice in 10 league appearances.
