Harry Kane scored a hat-trick for Tottenham Hotspurs who thumped Southampton 5-2 in the Premier League clash at Wembley Stadium on Boxing Day.The treble means Kane became the first player in Premier League history to score six hat-tricks in one calendar in the competition.
Dele Alli and Son Heung-min were the other scorers for Tottenham in the second half while Soufiane Boufal and Dusan Tadic scored consolatory goals for Southampton in the 64th and 82nd minutes who are without a win in seven games.

Alli side-footed his shot past Fraser Forster from the edge of the box to make it 3-0 before Son Heung-min made it 4-0. Soufiane Boufal latched on to a miscued clearance from Sanchez to score for Southampton in the 64th minute.
Kane completed his hat trick in the 67th minute of the one-sided encounter with a cheeky dink over Forster for Tottenham’s fifth of the game. Tadic made it 5-2 with a clever lob which Lloris parried in his own net.
