REASON WHY GOVERNMENT FAILED US IN NIGERIA

By Salami Babatunde Dauda

This is a very serious issue we face in Nigeria and other part of the world, but as long as this continue to repeat itself, we will continue to remain the same and that's why our so call country never develop till date.
Many find it hard to believe but it is the bitter truth about what is going on in our environment and the society we find ourselves. Our governance body are not to be write home about, due to our inconsistence and lack of integrity in choosing our leaders.

WHY DO THEY (GOVERNMENT) FAILED US?
This is very simple to understand but hard to believe in the sense that we are only after what we gain and not the effect it will cause on us.

The politicians of nowadays are not contesting to do good for the people rather than competing among themselves.

Considering the parties we have in Nigeria, there are lots number of different parties and candidates contesting for a particular post, but we only vote for the ones competing with one another rather than the ones that are ready to serve us well I.e the ones that are ready to devote their time and power to make our nation great. We have some other parties that are not well recognized but yet they have something good to deliver to us, but we never give them chance to convince us. They are ready to turn up the light of our dear nation, they are ready to put things in the right order, they want to make the nation great, they really have integrity to make the nation a better one but due to our selfish interest and ignorance we vote for the wrong person, and this tends to have a negative impact on the citizen and aliens of the country.
The candidates of the leading parties feels more relax and comfortable than any other, that even if they did anything wrong, nobody will question them and they will still have more ways to go than the less privilege.

They come up with a strategies and ideas which they know we can't meet up with, and after their administration, they will mention that since we couldn't provide what they demand for, that's why they couldn't fulfill their promises. That's how it continue , hoping that the next person from the same party will continue or the ones from another leading opposition party will make changes. When they started campaign, all this plight will be mentioned again just to win our votes and after that, the lies continue and continue.

Most time the government brainwashed us by coming up with things that can surprise or motivate us just to have our votes during the election, they try their possible best to steal our votes with their lies and political strategies.
The most funny part is that we are always carried away with this lies and confusion, we cast our vote and after some moment we will realized that all they have been saying was typically false, they are not in the position to help the situation.

HOW DO WE SELECT A GOOD LEADER?

We should vote for the ones that are ready to serve not the ones that want to rule.

The act of serving is the act to below oneself in actions and ways of leadership rather than ruling the people or giving unnecessary command that can affect the lifestyle of the people in the community negatively.

Our so called aspirant make some promises which you and I know they can't fulfill and yet we vote them in

We need someone that can speak our thought, someone that can read our mind, someone we can rely on, someone that understand how we feel, how we are, what we need, what we want, and most time what we don't want.

Those that have been into the act of suffering, those that can really tell how difficult it is to be a citizen of a country with pains and sorrow. Those that understand how the poor and the riches feels and the likely solution to bring justice and welfarism to the act of coordinating the people and their environment.
Someone that can handle the situation at hand, someone that can manoeuvre the difficulties we are facing, we need a creative leader, that can come up with good things, ideas and welfarism of the people.
A leader that can switches among all the styles of leadership we have. For example Visionary, Democratic, Authoritative, Transformational, Transactional, Autocratic, Strategic, Situational and many more. A good leader shouldn't practice only one style of leadership he should be able to practice at least two or more styles in other to make the administration work well......

Conclusion......
The solution and formation to change the situation and transformation of our nation doesn't need procrastination or elongation but act of elevation and cooperation among the people of our nation.

Shock: Pogba Agent Slam Man United

Man Utd would ruin even Maradona & Pele!' - Raiola slams Red Devils & says he won't send players there

Paul Pogba's agent has launched an attack on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side for how they've treated the Frenchman since his return to Old Trafford
Paul Pogba's agent Mino Raiola has attacked Manchester United and insisted he won't send players to sign for the club in its current state.

Furthermore, the Italian-born Raiola thinks that the World Cup winner needs a club with a clear "sporting project", highlighting Pogba's former club Juventus.

The United midfielder arrived back in Manchester for a second spell with the Red Devils in 2016, completing an £89 million ($118m) switch from Juve.
Much was expected of Pogba after he helped the Bianconeri win four successive Serie A titles in Italy, but he has proven a divisive figure among pundits and supporters since returning to the Premier League.

The 26-year-old has struggled to produce his best form on a consistent basis, amid concerns over his attitude and fitness levels.

Pogba has racked up 143 appearances for United across all competitions and played a key role in the team's run to a Carabao Cup and Europa League double during his first season back at Old Trafford.

However, the France international has ultimately been unable to inspire a turnaround in fortunes for a Red Devils side still struggling to re-establish their place among English football's elite.

Pogba has been heavily linked with a move away from Manchester in 2020, with Real Madrid tipped to launch a bid for his services and Juventus reportedly keen on bringing the player back to the Allianz Stadium.

Raiola has not been impressed with United's treatment of Pogba and says he wouldn't encourage any of his clients to secure a move to Old Trafford.

"He argued with [Sir Alex] Ferguson. Paul was the only one to say no to him, he never stomached it and took it out on me. But now Pogba’s problem is Manchester: it is a club out of touch with reality, without a sporting project," Raiola told La Repubblica when asked if Pogba was arrogant when he said he could become better than Pele.

"Today I wouldn’t bring anyone else there, they would ruin even [Diego] Maradona, Pele and [Paolo] Maldini. Paul needs a team and a society, one like at Juve before."
.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has stated that he expects Pogba to be available for a trip to Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal on New Year's Day, but he was not seen travelling with the rest of the squad on Tuesday afternoon.

Pogba returned to action after two months on the sidelines with an ankle injury on December 22, coming on as a substitute in United's shock defeat to Watford.

The Frenchman also made a second-half appearance in a 4-1 victory over Newcastle on Boxing Day, but was left out of the squad for the Red Devils' 2-0 win against Burnley two days later.

Raiola has already stated that Pogba won't be leaving Old Trafford in January but has suggested that he needs to be competing for league titles and be playing in the Champions League next season
