Guardiola defends underfire Bravo
The Chilean goalkeeper was handed his first Premier League start since 21st January in the 3-1 victory of Hull City on Saturday - but was at fault for conceding the consolation strike.
Italian centre-back Andrea Ranocchia beat the Chile international with a tame effort, to leave Bravo having conceded seven goals in seven shots on target at the Citizens' goal.
Nontheless, Guardiola praised the former Barcelona goalkeeper for his role in Sergio Aguero's goal - as he started an impressive build up from the back.
"The best with Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer and Barcelona's Marc-Andre ter Stegen," the Spaniard said about Bravo's footwork.
"With his feet he helps us a lot to create good build-up and create our possession in the middle of the pitch."
The 33-year-old has conceded 34 goals in 30 games across all competitions in his debut season with the Sky Blues - since making a £17 million switch from the Blaugrana.
