PARAGON: REASON WHY AUDIENCES BURST IN TEARS

Akanji Ahmed Olawale, A.K.A PARAGON is an aspirant for the post of National Association Of Nigerian Students, Joint Campus Committee NANS, JCC. KWARA AXIS 

He is a student of Kwara State Polytechnic, his competency and vibrancy make the stage alive as many gives thanks to the God they worship for not missing such an event. It is a special thing to talk about.

He delivered a speech at a program at the school premises and the outcome was so amazing that got most of the audiences attention. The program when well as their are many hidden emotional words from the speech that make the show more interest. 

It's been a good starting and end in joy when Com. Akanji Ahmed Olawale a.k.a PARAGON turn up the the stage with his motivational speech. During the inauguration program held at Kwara State Polytechnic, Institute of Technology , Civil Engineering Department. Over 500 audience where present and after the program, some of the audiences were interviewed and they all shed more light on how joyfully the program went. We could gathered that their were lots of motivational speech which calm most of the students and lecturers who attended the program. It was discovered that four 4 ladies and 3 guys burst into tears after realizing that they have been wasting their time and they comment that they won't have realized this if they didn't attended the program. Com. Akanji Ahmed talks about how students needed to related with the lecturers and other staff and never to get into trouble. He lamented that cultism lead to early death, unfavorable atmosphere, havoc and many disadvantages of it. He took the audience to another level of life which we never knew about. He talk more on fear of God and this is the only way to be in good shape and manage all that is being created by God. His speech was equally compared to the one given by President Barack Obama at California. 

He also declared his agenda as an aspirant contesting for the post of NANS JCC chairman. We believed with this program, it show that he has integrity to work with all Nigerian students. He promised to favour both the  minority and majority students. He took Nelson Mandela as another major Key leader , he is trying to become , he mentioned some of the good qualities of the late president and he has promised to follow his path.

We couldn't deny the fact that,he is the kind of leader we want in our time as a student and our children when become a parent. He is ready to bring new thing into the system which will not contradict the rules of the administration. 

He also mentioned about some of the past chairman and some other leaders related to NANS JCC, KWARA AXIS.

Kwara State Polytechnic former SUG president denied rumour of the latest news trending

This was the press released after the trending news that the ex SUG president Com. Oba O.A called to the attention of the current Kwara State governor his excellency Mallam Abdul Rahman Abdul Razaq on the issue of election of new SUG president and other subordinates which was tagged with caretaker taking over the post. 

N.B

 SUG 2018/2019 Led by Comr.Oba O.A is not the writer of the rumor tagged with my photo but never against the agitation of present students. Also,I don't  have any right to fight the management

  Different news/rumors have been going rampant on social media about ex-SUGpresident's involvement on election/DSS/caretakers.

 I Comr.Engr.Oba O.A hereby declare to the public that;

1.I don't know anything about the writeup tagged with the photo of the meeting we had with His Excellency weeks ago concerning SUGelection. The management has pledged to fast track the election process which I believe it will be done. 

2. I don't know anything about the  caretaker appointed by management. As a Matter of fact,I don't  know the students appointed till now

3.I don't know about students agitation on convocation day. As a matter of fact I was in CAMP as Nigeria Corp member on the  day before convocation lecture not to talk of convocation ceremony day.

4.No report or press release came from me to government about Kwarapoly Directorate of students service/SUGelection/caretaker.

The sudden meeting we were summoned by His Excellency last month was all about Hostel,Sch.fee ,lack of academic staff,consideration of expelled students and Students' welfarism.

   All I know about what is happening is that,we agitated to have convocation before NYSC and Fmr. A.g Rector approved it.Election too which he promised to look in to it.Also SUG due,he pledge his supports. All thanks to him. Now,that he handed over to my Alma mata's newly appointed Rector "Dr.Engr.  Abdul Mohammed" I believe that Kwarapoly will change for better soon than he met it...

I hereby appeal to the Management(DSS) to please  fast track SUGelection as stated in the constitution

Lastly, I never wish to go against wish of my Directorate Of Students Services in support of students interest  from the onset,but I realized that Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown At the end we achieved some of our agitations.

 My dearest incoming student leaders,SUG 2018/2019 didn't record any physical protest but dialogue. Please let have it in mind that, Kwarapoly has been recording,maintaining and sustaining peace,academic calendar and harmony for years,let us avoid all acts of violence and intolerance.Things will come back to position

WHO ARE SUCCESSFUL SUCCESSOR?

We see most celebrities claiming that they are successful when they have more followers. President claim they are successful when they are elected. Managers claim they are successful after winning and completing a project.

HOW DO WE KNOW WHO ARE SUCCESSOR?

Firstly, we need to know who are the successor. Successor are the ones who claim a position after which someone has left the post, either direct or indirect.

The prince is the successor to the king after the king has been declared dead and he emerge as the new king. But none of them is successful yet. This is the same as all other aspect of leadership in life. We all know that no one lives forever as one have to die once and forever. Some post may be held for some months or years and new people will be imposed or elected to continue the administration. 

WHEN ARE YOU SUCCESSFUL? 

You can only be successful not only when your children, siblings, friends or family emerge your position whether you are dead or alive but when all your legacy laid is still being practiced and you are always remembered by your followers. When you successfully inculcate some act in your followers and they can refer back that you taught them this or that. When your name is never forgotten for no reasons.

Most of the successful great men and women are the ones we either know or read about them and from those things we read about them we are able to have an imagination of how they live their life. We were able to tell others about them even when they are no more. Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W), Jesus Christ and many other men of God are successful that's why we talk about them today. They inculcate the act of worshiping God in us and that's what we have been doing even after we couldn't see them again. We talked about some the past leaders in Nigeria and other countries and we are able to learn from their past good and mistakes. These people are said to be successful because we can talk about them today. Isaac Newton, Abraham Lincoln, Archimedes, Henry Fayol, Barack Obama, Obafemi Awolowo, Fela Kuti, Gaddafi , Nelson Mandela and many more.

CAN WE LOSS THE TITLE "SUCCESSFUL"?

You may loss that word successful easily without stress. Osama bin ladin is and was well known as a terrorist. His actions cannot be forgotten till date. But he loss the title successful because he was insulged in killing and bad act. Nobody talk good about him today. If  anyone is as popular as him (Osama) today in good act. The person will be among the most successful successor in the world. But today his popularity has no value because nobody want to train their children like him. Though we have other terrorists around the world but no good parent will pray for their children to indulge in such act. That's why we considered them as not being successful.

DO YOU REALLY WANT TO BE SUCCESSFUL?

Of course YES, everybody love to be remembered after which they are no more just like the ones mentioned above. 

If we want to be remembered, then we need to start doing things that will make the world never forget us again. Nelson Mandela is a successful president as everybody talk good about him. And most parent want their children to be like or greater than him. 

It is a must for everyone to be successful irrespective of where you are coming from, irrespective of what you are going through.

Oba: A Call up to Kwara State Government, Kwara poly SUG president

Kwara state Polytechnic student union government President Com. azeez Oba has made call to the Kwara state governor Mallam Abdul Rahman Abdul Razaq to aid their assistance on the election of the new student union election. It was gathered that the DSS has been cunny in his action to use caretaker instead of election of the qualify aspirant from the concern Departments.

WE WANT ELECTION IN KWARA STATE POLYTECHNIC

SAY NO TO CARETAKERS 

     The entire kwara state polytechnic students say no to this present DSS. The DIRECTORATE OF STUDENTS SERVICES has been hindering the success of STUDENTS UNION ‘SU’ with his unprincipled calumny. 

    The flame of sadness has engulfed the minds of all Kwara State Polytechnic Students because some caretakers have been appointed by the DSS to keep acting on behalf of the the Union in KWARAPOLY because of his selfish, corrupt and fraudulent actions on the funds that is meant for STUDENTS UNION not to be disbursed. DSS had a written agreement with the previous Student Union to conduct election not to appoint caretakers! We strongly oppose his ‘DSS’ devilish behavior. Election must be conducted this November before NIPOGA

 The entire Kwarapoly students 

want immediate intervention of Kwara government within 12hours against the caretakers in our school. 

  DSS hegemony on Unionism in Kwara State polytechnic will remain unabated if he successfully get those caretakers appointed/installed. 

  Enough is enough! We need His excellency *Gov. AbdulRahmon AbdulRazaq (AA)* intervention in our school. This is injustice in our school! All Kwara state polytechnic Students say no to caretakers and the devilish, Mephistophelean, roguish DSS.

  Election must be conducted before the end of November.

   We'Kwara State Polytechnic’ are ready to for our right!

 We shall protest and entertain no fear against Soldiers
