What is happening in South Africa right now?

Right now, the government of South Africa has passed a motion to expropriate land without compensation from colonizers.

Right now, there is no water in Cape Town, the so-called “best-run municipality in SA” has no water. People are lining up to collect water at distribution points.

Right now, robbery, murder and rape is taking place in South Africa - 400 farm attacks in a year, 50 murder and rape cases a day.

Right now, car hijacking is taking place in the streets of Jo'burg and Cape Town - 70 car hijackings in a day.

Right now, 60% of South African students are dropping out of school before the matriculation stage.

Right now, somebody is busy painting a false picture of the “rainbow nation” to attract tourists.

Right now, 400,000 South African Boers are staying in slums, and stripped of their racist apartheid priviledges, thanks to BEE:

Right now, white farmers are leaving South Africa in droves.

Right now, Johannesburg is in an advanced stage of deterioration.

Illegal refineries with 4m daily capacity discovered in Rivers

Six illegal refineries discovered in Rivers

The Nigerian Navy says it has discovered six new illegal refineries with combined capacity to refine four million litres of crude oil daily in Alakiri, Asari Toru Local Government Area of Rivers.

Capt. Victor Choji, Executive Officer of the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) Pathfinder Port Harcourt, disclosed this while destroying one of the illegal refineries on Thursday in Alakiri, Asari-Toru.

“The refinery (in Alakiri) has capacity to produce one million litres of refined petroleum products daily, while the five other refineries have production-capacity of three million litres daily,” he said.

Choji said the refineries were discovered through intensive intelligence gathering and undercover operations by naval troops.

He said the navy deployed Swam Buggy machines to crush the metallic storages and its pipelines to make it impossible for operators of the refineries to rehabilitate the facilities.

“This operation is focused on hitting the very heart of their infrastructure, so that the operators do not have capacity to regroup and resume their illicit activities.

“We realised that whenever we set ablase the refineries without the use of Swam Buggy machine, days after our troops leave the scene, the oil thieves return and revive the refineries.

“So, the Navy came up with this strategy to ensure that the pipeline network and metallic storages at the illegal facility are completely crushed.

The executive officer said the swam buggy approach was also adopted to address health concern raised by residents over carbon emissions (black soot) in the atmosphere in the state and environs.

He said that the strategy had led to significant reduction of soot in the atmosphere while also improving aquatic life in the maritime environment.

“We started siphoning petroleum products first before destroying the illegal refineries as part of measures to eliminate soot in the atmosphere.

“After siphoning the product, it is then taken out of the area and handed over to authorities for testing and analysis,” he said.

Choji said it would take troops about seven days to move the petroleum products and destroy the six illegal refineries.

Group accuses Buhari’s govt of deliberately assigning Kanu, Fani-Kayode’s cases to Fulani judges

A group which identified itself as the Nigerian Policy Monitoring Team, NPMT, on Thursday, accused the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government of deliberately assigning cases involving the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu and former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, to Fulani judges.

The group made the allegation while reacting to the call by former Defence minister, T.Y. Danjuma, asking Nigerians to defend themselves against killer herdsmen.

Danjuma, who spoke during last weekend, claimed that the military was colluding armed bandits wrecking havoc in communities.

While Fani-Kayode is facing charges of corruption before a Lagos Federal High Court, the IPOB leader faces terrorism charges before an Abuja Federal High Court.

In a statement signed by its Director General, Oyinemi Nicholas Endeley, NPMT stressed that Danjuma only reiterated what Kanu and Fani-Kayode had said.

Endeley maintained that the Buhari administration “hates and fear” both Kanu and Fani-Kayode more than anybody.

The statement reads, “T.Y. Danjuma shocked the world when he exposed the ills going on behind the scenes, telling us that this present government and their controlled Army are colluding with Fulani terrorists to cause mayhem in our lands as they seek to conquer us.

“Now the Nigerian Polity Monitoring Team is telling Nigerians that this same pattern is being used in the judiciary system to shut the mouths of strong oppositions.

“There are two people that the Buhari government hate and fear more than any other. First is Nnamdi Kanu, second is Femi Fani-Kayode. They had said everything T.Y Danjuma just said; they have been a bone in the necks of these tyrants. If President Muhammadu Buhari could get away with it he would have killed them both long ago.

“But instead of doing so, he charged them to court with spurious and fake trumped up charges and has put them both in front of Fulani judges who hate them and have been told to jail them at all costs. Nnamdi Kanu is before Justice Binta Nyarku who is from Katsina and FFK is before Justice R.M. Aikawa who is from Kano. This is not a coincidence. It is contrived and a well calculated plan to take them to the pit. Those judges have been given clear orders about what to do.

“Despite that both FFK and Kanu remained steadfast for years and have refused to renounce their views about the Fulani ruling class, the Fulani herdsmen and the Buhari government. It takes mighty courage and a rear alloy of resilience to do this. Let us hope that Nnamdi is still alive and that they haven’t killed him and let us hope they don’t kill FFK.

“Buhari and his team may have today but tomorrow surely belongs to these men who both have a massive following and an army of supporters in the country.”

Which is the most expensive car in the world in 2018?

Rolls Royce Sweptail

13 million $

It's arguably the most unique and most expensive model Rolls-Royce has ever created.

When an unnamed, exceptionally wealthy fellow asked Rolls to build him a “one-off luxury motor car like no other”. So Rolls did. It’s unveiled at the Villa d’Este Concorso d’Eleganza.

Like any true Rolls-Royce , the Sweptail draws it's inspiration from elements in its social sphere, namely luxurious motoring and racing yachts.

Giles Taylor, director of design at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars described the Sweptail as "the automotive equivalent of Haute couture".

The owner for this car frequently purchases exclusive yachts and seems to have wanted the same design for this 6-meter long luxury mammoth. The Sweptail gets the largest ever aluminium grille in the Rolls Royce range and is hand-polished in mirror finish.

* The signature ornament ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’

A 2-seater coupe has tremendous power under its hood and can achieve a 0- 100 km in 4.6sec because of 6.6-litre V12 engine.

It takes 4 years to make one Sweptail and comprises many things made by hand. So this means if you order now then it would be taking 4 years to be at your home.

Inside there is leather-wrapped steering wheel, Moccasin and Dark Spice leather seats while the Macassar Ebony and Paldao veneers portraying a true gentleman’s reflection.

Lamborghini Veneno Roadster — $4.5 million

The costliest ride we could find is another open-air hypercar. Essentially a barely street legal racer, the Veneno encases its occupants in an ultra-angular aerodynamic shell that’s drop-dead gorgeous. A 6.5-liter V12 engine eschews turbo- or supercharging but nonetheless generates a whopping 740 horsepower. With only nine units built, like other Lamborghinis, it’s named for a famed fighting bull.
